Wisteria Blossoms
Wisteria is very distinct with its flowing pattern and draping blossoms. It has an exotic but still delicate quality. Although this unique vine only blooms for a short time each spring, it is more beautiful every year and a definite jewel in the garden.
My recent mixed media painting of wisteria combines a variety of different papers with watercolor and acrylic paint finished with metallic silver linework for emphasis. I have always loved blues and wisteria is one of my favorite flowers.
Do you have a favorite flower? If so, please post it in the comments section. I am always looking for ideas for future paintings...

Hippity Hoppity Easter is on its Way...
Just thought I'd share some of the bunnies that have been hopping into place at our house lately as Easter Sunday nears. For a few years now I have been assembling a bunny collection to celebrate this special Spring holiday and these are a few of my favorites...
Hope you all have a very happy and blessed Easter!

Tulip and Lavender
The tulip bulbs I planted late last fall have started blooming in a variety of colors. This yellow one caught my eye since it is the color of sunshine...

Rambling Rose
Lately I have been inspired by the luminous pastels I see on the Easter decor that is popping up all around. These soft candy colors found their way into this mixed media piece of a climbing rose. It is a watercolor painting enhanced with ribbons, textured papers and beads.
