March Daffodils
Spring has sprung in California, and I am out with my camera almost every day capturing the beautiful blossoms on the trees and flowers that are popping up faster than you can imagine.

Spring Peony Wreath DIY
The blossoming trees and beautiful weather lately remind me that spring is around the corner and soon our garden will be alive with the sound of buzzing bees. Although most of the flowers are just beginning to bloom in the entryway, over the next month or so the front yard will be filled with soft pink, lavender, white and coral blooms.

Blossoms in the Fog...
It has been an interesting mix of winter and spring lately with cold foggy mornings that later turn into beautiful sun-filled afternoons. Trees are starting to blossom and early spring flowers are beginning to appear where once there was only earth.

The Empress of Winter
The camellia, often called the Empress of Winter, is one of the few flowers that comes into bloom in the coldest and darkest part of the year. The evergreen shrub produces large showy flowers in white, red and pink hues that bring the garden alive while other plants hibernate until spring.

Harbingers of Spring...
I found myself behind the lens again today exploring the subtleties of light on a cold winter afternoon. In these icy moments it is hard to believe that spring is just around the corner but these tulips are gentle reminders of the season to come.
